SuperSport United Tottenham Hotspurs Youth Academy
The academy focuses on developing a youth base or talent pipeline for SuperSport United by providing for the educational, soccer and social needs of boys aged 13-18 years. Academy graduates have the opportunity to progress to becoming players for the SuperSport United first team. The academy has forged international partnerships with Feyernoord Amsterdam and Tottenham Hotspurs. To date, 29 academy graduates are playing in the PSL and national 1st division leagues.
The Sports Trust
The purpose of the trust is to create opportunities and increase access in sport participation by providing sports equipment and facilities.
In total we have spent over R45 million on more than 300 projects throughout the country. In addition, SuperSport partners the Sports Trust in an annual sports quiz involving sports journalists. A weekly insert of Sports Trust activities is broadcast on SuperSport channels.
